I don't know what it was but the background music has some pretty bad distortions in so I had to turn it of after dying once. The art is very nice.

Cool Game. It was a bit too unclear what to do exactly but it was fun though. A little to fast on the ghosts for my likeking.

Summoning is not working :/
You should really lower the sound too it acted like a screamer to me when I started the game x))

Very impressive for a solo project, there's a lot going on here. The amount of enemies that spawn is chaotic but in a fun way, and I really liked how you could destroy parts of the environment too. Killing enemies to regain magic is a fun mechanic too, meant I could stay in the air for quite a while when I was playing well. Like the art a lot too, thought the mouse cursor was a very nice touch. Great job!

Great job for your first game jam! It was my first one too and I enjoyed it a lot. I liked the code generated music. I thought it was really interesting. This was a fun game to mess around with. I struggled with the summoning but enjoyed killing as many ghosts as I could!

I found this game very interesting! Looking over the source code, I find it fascinating how "from scratch" you managed to make this. When I think of games "from scratch," I usually consider external libraries like SDL to cover window creation and sprite drawing. Seeing basic windows functions used instead impressed me. Good job!

Played a bit. I enjoy the pixel graphics. Gameplay was simple to understand. Once I realized I could jump several times in a row, I understood the game more. I thought it was funny falling out the map into a void where everything was falling in. Fun little game!
