Summon your dead foes as allies in the fight against ancient forces of evil.

- Use arrows keys or WASD to move
- Use mouse cursor to aim
- Click or press SPACE to summon nearby corpses to your aid
- Gain XP and level up by killing enemies and summoning the dead. You also gain XP from the kills of your minions!
- You can summon more frequently at night, but your attack rate is slower than in the daytime.

The game seems to run best on Chrome. There may be stuttering issues on Firefox.

Nicely done! This is a very interesting take on the survivors-like formula, and I find myself wanting more of it. Well thought out, well executed, it's pretty enough and there's some ambiance here with the audio. A really fantastic entry, and I hope you decide to take the concept further!

Very well executed. I've never played vampire survivors, but I've really enjoyed the survivor-likes I've run into and this one is the best so far! Art is great, gameplay loop is well telegraphed, and everything runs smoothly, well done!

This game was great! Awesome gameplay. I love the way you used the summon mechanic. Would love to see this game expanded. Probably my favorite game I've played of this jam so far.

A cool vampire survivors esque game. I loved building up my own little army and found it a pretty fun way to make use of the theme. With the ranged enemies, I found the game had a bit of a Bullet Hell aspect to it, and I think some expansion into that style of game would serve it well. Great job!

Great entry!, I am a big fan of CRT effects, so it always nice to see it implemented, The color palette you have picked gives a great mood that perfectly complements the necromantic theme/setting.

nice take on the genre

i would have loved to see more upgrades for the sumnons rather than on the player, cause at the end my firepower was way more powerful than my minions

art and audio are on point

Awesome submission! Love the power growth in this one. Very satisfying defeating the baddies and then getting a visible upgrade to my abilities.

Really well made survivor game!! Inspired mechanic to build your army in the survivor genre, impressive pixel art and just a fun loop with nice progression. A bit more feedback to when I got hit by a bullet would be useful. Most fun survivor jam I've played, well done!

Holly crap dude! this is just like my game but much more fun and with much more meaningful mechanics AND IN FREAKING COMPO??? HOOOOOOW? I can't imagine losing 1 day on my game. and even with 3 days I didn't have the time for the upgrades like in your game, I'm really impressed by how much you managed to achieve in a compo. seriously you're crazy :laughing:. amazing work on the fun mechanics especially the summoning which is a strategic dance between risk and reward. the art style is neat and the audio is just as good! great work!

I had a great time playing this and I love how it looks and sounds. The art and tone were spot on. Really I just wanted more! Loved the day/night split, the wild power ramp, and the excitement of finding a new enemy type to raise! I kinda wished my minions blocked most projectiles. They don't serve well as meat shields against the giant slug/serpent things.
