Once again, hunger strikes Shadow the cat, yet his owner is nowhere to be found. It’s up to you to guide Shadow through his world of meow-gic and mischief to tame the growling beast within his belly. Will you heed the call and join Shadow on his quest to satisfy his insatiable appetite?

How to Play:

Use the ARROW keys to move

SPACE to jump

SHIFT to sneak

V to pick up and drop items

C to cough up any hairballs (drop items first)

E to traverse between rooms

Bugfix Changelog (1 hour past deadline):

Music looping was fixed (previously wouldn't loop)

Portal transition 2d added (portal wouldnt consistently transition to next scene)

Demon animation loop disabled

It took me a while to figure out the mechanics, and I'm not sure I got everything, but I liked the theme and it was cute! I only summoned one guy but I liked him.

I had to go back and re-check the instructions, it wasn't clear to me that I could go through the "front door."

Very cute art and music. The animations for the cat were nice too :).
I had some trouble with the controls and knowing the objectives, but I still enjoyed my time with it :D Good job

Really like the art style, the music loop didn't grate on me which is always a plus so good job there :joy: I was a bit confused on what the actual aim was? I drop about 6 birds into the summon circle but nothing seemed to change? Either way good job!

I don't quite understand the mechanics after reading the instructions. I managed to get outside, but I wasn't able to catch any of the animals to sacrifice.

That being said, I love the art it's very cute.

Really loved the art, it was very simple and communicative, while also being stylish and cute. That cat was especially adorable. It took me a while to figure out the gameplay (reading the key-mapping instructions helped, I was lost at first). Once I figured it out, I felt it could use a little variety, but overall thought it was fun and cute. Wish I could catch those pesky squirrels! I like the hairball causing a portal. Great work!

The graphics are cute but I have absolutely no idea how to progress in the game. :grinning: I can traverse between the first room and the ritual room by coughing up a portal but apart from that I can't really figure out what to do. Nothing seems to do anything.

This is a nice looking game, though the scaling is a bit blurry on the pixel art. Unfortunately, I couldn't work out what to do after summoning a portal and going between the starting room and the summoning/sacrificial room.

I liked the graphics, the cat is very cute. Good animations, however, sometimes the cat's walking animation breaks down.

No in-game tutorial. It is the game that should explain the player how to play it, not a desctiption below.
Jumped over the book and walked beyond the screen to the right. When returned back got stuck in a book. Reloaded. Got to the book, opened the portal. Couldn't get to the portal because of the book. Jumped ovber the book and over the portal, returned back, got stuck in the book.
