Warning: We didn't have time to balance the game. Play at your own risk. (Honestly it's hilarious check it out)
A quick explanation of the game mechanics because the tutorial isn't clear:
- You have five days to accumulate as much magic as you can (magic is your score)
- You need to have cultists assigned to the ritual in order to keep your magic stable (1 cultist for 100 magic)
- You need money to keep your cultists (and prisoners, but those don't matter) alive.
- You will loose loyalty if you have less magic than the highest amount you ever had.
- Gill Bates is a lie, do not fall for his tricks.
Developer High score (without eating the ghost (don't ask questions)): 10602
With ghost: 286850 (again, don't ask)
v1.1 has a couple of bugfixes
- displays the right text when events conclude
- the Targaret Matcher event no longer crashes the game
- The game window is sometimes too large for the screen and cannot be resized
- The event window is sometimes too small for the event text
- The music glitches once the game ends and won't stop
- The wrong portrait sometimes shows up in events
- "player_name" is not being replaced with the actual player name in event text
- The ritual is displayed at the wrong magic threshold
- There is still one placeholder event floating around
- Gill bates gives you so much money that your counter overflows into negative values and thus stops you from ever spending money again. (Canonical explanation is inflation) (We might keep this one because it's just too funny)
We are working on fixing these asap, don't hesitate to point out other ones in the comments
