An evil cult's attempt to resurrect an ancient demon goes wrong when by accident they summon a legendary demon hunter. Hunt as many minions as you can to gain energy and sustain yourself, while the evil cultist tries to unsummon you. How many takes did it take you to get to the top?

We really wanted to make a cultist final boss but we ran out of time :(

Our team consisted of 5 people (1 designer, 2 programmers, 2 artist)

The idea of "unsummoning" is very innovative! I like it XD

I like the concept, its a fun twist on the theme, I feel like the timer could be a bit more forgiving though  The graphics were really well done though and the movement felt really solid - Good job!

The concept seems neat but I got stuck pretty early on, so I feel like the early sections especially need to be a little more forgiving.

Really tough, but getting a good streak going feels great! Good job :D

Great movement mechanics! Would have liked some longer and harder levels or a high score system to compete with others. The art and music are good as well. Great job!

I really like the concept and the art style, good work!

I loved the mechanics! The fast pace and the timer makes it very addictive, and you never get stuck for too long haha. Very fun twist on the theme, nice work!

I really liked the fast paced gameplay. Was a bit hard tho

Ok, that's hardcore. I think I managed to get out of starting pit purely by accident. Tbh it's a bit too much. I would rather prefer having instant reset button instead of very short timer.

Artistically this looks really nice and I like the premise. Anyway, solid job, but man... it's really hard! :D

I tried for 10 minutes to get out of the starting pit, guess I'm just bad D:

Sucks cause I went as far as downloading it to play because it seemed so cool T_T

The music slaps at least, from the little I managed to hear of it before every restart :P

I think plenty of others have mentioned the difficulty already, but balancing a jam game is difficult even in the best of circumstances.

I like the overall concept, and the character design is sweet. I wish the music continually looped instead of restarting every time you die.

Time management is by far the toughest thing to master in jams, I think. Well done on what you were able to accomplish!

Ah cool, and here I was thinking I was the only one that made a 2D platformer!

I liked what I played. Awesome pixel art, tight controls, fast paced gameplay. Too bad it was so short though, I would have loved to play more of it, but I can truly empathize with you running out of time (I also wanted to have a final boss fight and ended up with only 2 stages...)

My biggest problem was not being able to fullscreen the game. Playing with mouse and keyboard, I ended up selecting or clicking on the top of the game window and failing movements. Pretty fun and intuitive in regards to the controls and overall tone. Graphics scaled pretty well even at 4k. Well done. :)
