Great art style! Love the vibe and the audio while minimal did a good job to set the mood.
I took a while to understand the controls and I gotta say even after I figured them out I do not like them. I usually don't mind "floaty" movement (e.g. I like the jumping in Ultimate Chicken Horse) but it never felt right here. Or maybe I'm just salty the AI opponent swooped and stole the hat from under me >:(.
That kind of movement is not our fault. I did normal controls, but you know, Cthulhu just really likes water and his floor is very wet, it adds that effect.
Also, I'd like to sympathize with you for losing your hat, but I'm just proud of my boy.

@dinoraz oooh the visibility of spikes are on me... i could and i should make them more visible for player to see but in the end what can be funnier then a sudden death... right? :D

Gameplay was fun too and cthulhu was cute. Enjoyed playing it
I didn't understand at first that some obstacles kill you and some can contain a hat. But now as I look at them, they don't look so dangerous, they have a different color and shape.
Other than that, I liked background chanting. Well done!
Just for the record, I've mysophobia and the sound of mouth is difficult to hear for me :/

Cool game! I recorded myself playing to provide extra feedback.
The only thing is that I had a bug when pressing alt, sometime it would freeze my screen for a few seconds ? No idea why.

Floaty movement combined with somewhat ambiguous hitboxes made the character quite hard to control. It got better over time but I think the controls could be a bit snappier in this type of game.
My god, the art style was so unique and awesome, every demonic figure has its own personality. Every one of them had its own cool design.
The demonic chanting was so good, it stuck in my head. It was both cute and disturbing.
The gameplay with its weird controls added a nice flavour.
