Ants Versus the (bug) World

Cool game. I wish there were clearer instructions in the beginning but I managed to figure it out. I liked how you drag pheromones to the resources to get the ants to pick it up. I wish it was a bit faster paced or gave more of a challenge, but it was still fun. Great job!

@wafflefish Thanks! The first stage is a bit of a rushed tutorial done at the very end, the real game starts when you destroy the worm nest that's to the right. That's where the real (possibly impossible) challenge begins.

fun to play, easy to learn mechanics. I like this game SO much)

Game was pretty fun. I was confused a little bit on what each of the trails do (and I still don't know) but I did fight with some worms and spiders. The graphics are cute, and I like the trail drawing feature. The different kind of ants you can spawn was a bit unclear too.. but overall very nice work.

It’s cool, very cool, but it’s not clear at all. I was literally thrown into a pixel world with pleasant, non-intrusive sounds and, to put it mildly, like a homeless person with a pencil and cardboard, they sat me down and said, you can draw, erase and sit and do it) But the game is cool

I love the music, it truly made me feel like a divine being commanding my ant workers. Frustrating when they don't follow my pheromone trails, but a very unique concept that made for different gameplay than just selecting them. Good job!

The spiders destroyed me! Had my red ant feeling good, and then two spiders came and just killed my squad.

Idea is cool - definitely something that would be expanded on :)

I love strategy and tactical gameplay, so this was right up my alley. The pacing is great, the tiny sprites are wonderful and the challenge was well balanced! well done!
