@scrumblob We know that the files do not work as they should, and uploading to the site was difficult and didn’t go as expected. We do not claim originality, we're just learning, and this is our first game for a Game Jam.

Nice game! Didn't really know what to do in single player mode, but placing bombs and seeing their destruction was fun though. But some easier controls would have been really great, because I placed some bombs at the wrong characters and couldn't make them run away, because I had to totally change my hands positions over the whole keyboard.
Good game though you can spend a bit of time trying stuff out!

Well. It still says "Bomberman" in the bottom right corner and that's the kind of game nobody on earth does not know.
I just have a single question: Why not try to add something original? There is so many stuff that could be added that would make a Bomberman game a specific and worth new game. Try to customize it to make it your own.

Nice clone of Bomberman!
I looked for a discrepancy with the original game, and could only find one : the bomb explosions don't trigger other bombs, although in the original game you could use this effect to trap your opponents!
Other than that, the player movement is well remade (including the rounded corners of the bricks!), this is a clone but clearly a good one, great work!
I second the idea : you could use this opportunity to add one innovative extra-feature to this game, to make it truly yours!

It also looks like a carbon copy of Bomberman, is this an AI generated post? I'll play your game and eat my words if you can post a web version that's a unique game though!
