Winter is coming and you must grow enough crops to last the winter. However, tiny insects are determined to eat you out of house and home. Grow inedible bushes and shrubs to protect your crops so you can last the winter.
How to Play
1. In the shop, click on the plant you would like to place.2. Click on the space you would like to plant in.
3. Repeat until your garden is ready.
4. Click "Start Round" and hope you can survive the bugs!
5. Click on any fully-grown plants to harvest them.
Plants
- Plants have 3 stages: seed, sprout, and mature. Seeds are the cheapest in the shop, but they cannot block bugs.- Each plant has different health, growth times, and harvest values.
- There are 3 broad categories of plants: cash crops, durable shrubs, and flowers that support plant growth.
- There are also vines that are a mix of the above categories and spread over time.
Insects
All bugs will eat plants until they are full. If they make it to your house, then they will start eating your supply of acorns!- Flies are weak bugs that make a beeline for your house.
- Beetles are slow but eat a lot more than flies.
- Locusts circle around your garden as they eat all your crops.
Tips
- During the early rounds, consider buying bush sprouts to defend your cash crops.- You can place plants while the bugs are attacking. If you don't have enough money to defend all sides of your house, start the round to see where the bugs are and then quickly put down some bush sprouts to block them.
- At the end of a round, you'll gain an acorn (2 in Easy Mode) and any plants that have grown will emit green particles.

Is there a way to prevent the bloody beetle to take down my poor house though? :D I swear everything was going okayish and then... The blue beetle slowly crawled to my house... And it was over.
The concept is quite fun, there might be a bit too many plants to start with so the player can get easily lost. But it would make for a nice puzzle game if fleshed out a bit more, congrats!
Some feedback: doing well in the game seems to rely on placing a few high value sprouts early and starting the round while still having currency. Then, placing bushes (grown ones, not seeds) directly on enemies to avoid a loss on round 1. Having different icons for a seed bush vs sprout/full would help, and maybe some direction to encourage placement after starting the round.
Why are all my neighbors bugging me? They come and chew me me out about my plants. It really stings when they're so hostile.
