Our first game made for Ludum Dare! You play as... John. I call him Ron though, please call him Ron.

This is a top-down shooter where you are placed in the middle of the woods with an unlimited amount of tiny pink creatures that want to turn you into a jack-o-lantern. Survive as long as possible, they only grow in numbers!

If they catch you, they won't give you time to scream.

WASD to move, LMB to shoot, RMB to kick, ESC to exit (ingame).
Kick has a cooldown, shown by the transparent severed leg under you! Use it when you have a little guy WAY too close for comfort. Keep your guard up, they could come from behind at any second!

Fullscreen is recommended! :3

Haha dang, it's crazy how much a few sound effects can add to an atmosphere. Creepy. I dug it, though. I feel like maybe the player needs a little more visibility, or the creatures could ramp up their speed, starting a bit slower at first. I'm sure it's something you could learn to get really skilled at after many plays, but it's pretty stressful and fast to be thrown in the first couple of times! Great one.

The parallax effect on main menu was cool and definitely worth the effort! I liked the MS Paint graphics! They are suprisingly good and the animations were great! Good job on finishing first Ludum Dare game!! I am impressed how good this game is for a first entry! The game is first and foremost finished, there were no game breaking bugs and everything was adequate!

I liked playing this game. Animations of the character shooting and kicking. I noticed that if the enemies pass by the character's hands, you no longer have the opportunity to shoot (I think that's why the kicking mechanic was added). Overall it was noice.

was fun, fast paced, am wishingings there were more enemy types tbh - liking the frameby frame animations and the sounds were vry fitting and silly nice nice

Very fast paced! The horror is nicely supported by the sound effects - tiny creatures crawling inside of you...
I am not good enough of a snappy shooter/kicker anymore to last for long tho.

I couldn't pass beyond wave 2 and kept trying it but that was the farthest I got. I wish the bullet hit box was a bit bigger, so that I could kill those pink creatures with ease. But man, I loved the Art style chosen for this game and nice sfx. Loved it overall.

Game felt pretty difficult, mostly because of how zoomed in the camera is. Getting blindsided from behind while constantly backpedaling felt a little frustrating. The kick was a cool addition. The art was cool, I liked the lineart and how weird the designs were. Cool little shooter, would love to see a world fleshed out in this style.

Seems pretty difficult, because the creatures are so tiny and hard to hit and pretty fast, but i still like the challenge, even if im bad at it lol. But i really dig the PizzaTowerLike Graphics, really good job on these! Great Game!

This game really creeps me out haha! It definitely has a mood to it and the controls are smooth but it's pretty challenging
