Hey! Interesting game, I like the rising water level adding lots of intensity! Small critiques: controls felt a little slow / odd inside the level design, like the characters were getting stuck / floating on the rocks and walls, i feel like there are maybe some misplaced colliders? I think looking into the basics of how to make a platformer feel clean / polished would help a lot!
I would highly recommend, next time, to see if you can integrate a tutorial into the game itself! I was very confused at first not knowing I could switch forms, since it wasn't in the game itself and only realized after coming back to this page to leave a rating. Its important that your game can teach the player how to play~
The mis-matched art is interesting! Maybe multiple artists worked on different tasks? Love the character animations, and the tile sets and pixel art is nice as well, though the contrast between styles is a little jarring. Fun idea though!
the in web playing doesn't work for me in here, but I got it to work with the link. unfortunately it is really hard to move around, but I like the graphics!
I'm afraid I didn't manage to get through the very first few platforms, controls are very floaty, and at some point the character seems to stay stuck in mid air? I'd love some kind of tutorial or more time to get the hang of the controls before being caught up by the rising sky.
I would have appreciated a tutorial, because the slightly janky physics together with not knowing what every form of creature does made it unnecessarily difficult for me to understand what to do. Nevertheless, I figured it out and finished the game - it was intense! Oh and at the end it told me to 'kill the guest coder'?
Hey, cool artstyle! I had no idea you could switch between different form before coming back for rating, and I completely missed the end of first level at first. Imho that could be made more obvious. Once I got it I managed to play a bit more! One thing that would help a lot is you easily get stuck on walls. I believe it might be because you used physics with colliders and it could be fixed by adding a PhysicsMaterial with no friction on walls, or on your character on the sides. I enjoyed it nonetheless, nice platforming
The controls feel really smooth! I love your art style, and the rising water adds a great sense of pressure. However, I reached the top but couldn’t find a way out. Maybe I missed something? Overall, it’s really well done! Also, sometimes the character’s animation seems to stop when in mid-air—might be a bug.
Very cute and cool graphics, loved the main splash art and mechanics of switching forms to gain different abilities. Physics though are a bit janky and often I got stuck midair. Anyway, cool game!
I really liked the menu screen - the art was great. I enjoyed the fast pace nature of the game. It was really fun having to swap all the characters really quickly to escape the rising water.
I wish the water didn't rise immediately when the level started. It was overwhelming and I couldn't figure out the basic mechanics fast enough. I had to restart multiple times to eventually understand the mechanics then the rest of the level was simple.
Menu art and characters are pretty. I don't know if the slim one should jump multiple time while in air but felt like i've cheated whole game ahaha. Water could rise a little bit slower in the beginning. Great idea, cheers!
I fell in love with the visuals of this game. It's a true feast for the eyes! As for the mechanics, I initially had to adjust to the jumps, but it didn't take me long. Well done!
great that this is an html game, I was able to play on ipad, however characters gets stuck in textures very often. The way the characters are drawn I like, especially their squeeze and squash of their form Good job
the bugs are a bit annoying but the art is especially beautiful and captivating and magnificent and im just shocked that you could've done that in such a short amount of time. this was amazing!
I really like how menu and character looks, but there are a few problems with gameplay. When you start it is hard to understand what is happening - it isnt obvious that you have to run away. Waves are moving up and down a lot, obstructing the view. Also player controller is a bit wonky. Very interesting mechanic of changing forms tho, if each form had some more unique gameplay variety it would be nice. Otherwise I would like to play another game with similar visuals )
@tan90 - Thanks for the feedback! Glad you liked the game despite the bugs. In the last level you had to move left, because the upper exit was blocked с:

Game was fun, although I'm not sure if there was a second level I got to the top and then it was over. Nice job on the music and art though. I'll also note that the music was all the way down in settings by default so I almost missed it! Definitely put that up!
I like the art of the Character and its animations, but the platforms are pixel art and the rest is high res art, that breaks the consistency of the visuals. I believe there's a lot of potential in this art if you keep the same visual style used in the character for the rest of the game.
Love the art style! Got stuck on walls way more often than I'd like. Player would benefit from a less urgent introduction to the game before diving in.
I liked the main character designs a lot, they look really good! Same with the title screen background. The music fits well with the gameplay (once the volume turned up in the settings).
Other people have already mentioned the collisions/physics/hitbox issues.
I couldn't reach the exit of the second level, I think I was too slow getting the yellow thing behind the crate and trying to do something with it.
The game is cool, but I couldn't get to the ending and I also missed the audio component. Really liked the Art Design. Well done! To jam this is a great game! Respect from JoBlow!

But I get stucked a lot of times in invisible walls, and cannot get to succeed after ~10 tries :/

Congrats on submitting for the jam!
Good job
