A Cute little platformer that has you play as a little ice cube named Kalvin. Kalvin has always dreamed of being an ice cube in a jar of lemonade, and he needs help to get ther! Control calving through different stages to help him reach the lemonade pitcher at the end! Of course, you need to reach pitcher before Kalvin melts!!

With this game, we wanted to play with the theme in both its character and the story, in that Kalvin the Ice Cube himself is just a lil guy; a tiny creature, and in the story, Kalvin feels tiny and defeated as he talks down to himself until he learns his valuable lesson!

It's okay if you don't win, and if you do, congratulations!

The intro cinematic was very nice! Admittedly, I wasn't as much a fan of the gameplay, as the platforming felt a bit off. I immediately got stuck in a hole which I couldn't get out of until I shrank, which is a very nice mechanic by the way! Though the combination of unpredictable maneuvering, poor camera placement and me clipping out of bounds made it hard for me to finish the first level. The sound design, visuals and character design were still very appealing. I also loved the kitchen location and the painterly look it had to it. Big congrats on completing the jam!

Absolutely incredible artstyle and the story is presented in such a charming way - the drawing book scenes are very well executed. The platformer controls feel slippery (which I'm assuming is on purpose), but at smaller sizes (and higher speeds), Kalvins tends to behave quite janky (i glitched out of the map multiple times). I would recommend adding some camera lookahead, because it's quite difficult to see whats in front of Kalvin (in Unity you could use cinemachine for that). Overall really creative entry, great job!

The story is designed very cool, but unfortunately, the controls are frustrating. Every time you appear, you get stuck on the stairs until you melt, and then you can't accomplish anything.

Maybe I misunderstood the mechanics of the game and did something wrong..

The story and intro are incredibly incredibly cool. But the camera alignment is shifted forward and you can’t see where to go at all. Otherwise, the controls perfectly convey the experience of controlling an ice cube. Good job!
