Dive from space down into the depths of the Earth, to discover true power.

Works on desktop (preferred) or mobile web (a bit janky - on mobile you'll need to use the Itch.io version in order to go full screen).

How to play

On the web: activate fullscreen mode in settings.

* Keyboard: Left/right or A/D to move. R to restart. Esc for menu.
* Controller: Left stick (left/right) to move. Back to restart. Start for menu.
* Touch: Tap left and right side of screen to move. Menu button in lower right corner.

Play in browser at Itch.io if this isn't working, or try refreshing the page.

Hmm, I encountered this last night due to a Godot bug and I worked around it, so I'm puzzled why it's coming back. I've only seen one other report about it and I can't reproduce it myself. :(

The movement felt really good, and the game felt intuitive. Great entry!

Even though there are a lot of games about falling in the competition, I haven't found another with such refreshing realism and magnitude of depth. It adds a unique feel to the catharsis of falling. Well done!

I enjoyed the choice of music and fluidity of the game itself. It was very easy to pick up and just enjoy, which is always a battle for a jam. The UI gave perfect information about what was happening and the red/green highlights were a great way to visually tell me what to do.

Nice take on the theme. The music hooked me instantly and added a lot to the feeling of gaining speed very fast. Expected to turn out badly for the character in the end but your ending felt great though :)

I never managed to make it past the molten lava but I can see this as a mobile game. Nice work

Thanks @0x-void-x0 ! The lava section starts to hurt you over time so the only way through is to go faster. Ideally you start that section at a high speed, and quickly pick up 1 or 2 green stars soon after, and then you'll get through with no trouble. (That's the last stage.)
