Deep in the Internet is a simple game about avoiding pop-ups

After you try to buy a really anticipated and expensive game without money a conveniently timed pop up that offers the game for free shows itself, you click it in desperation...

This is our first Ludum Dare Gamejam and for three of us the first time developing a game, any kind comments and feedback are appreciated!

For a first game this is not bad at all! My main criticism is about SFX volume. I understand maybe y'all were going for a jumpscare? But the unavoidable computer virus popup was *quite* loud lol

I feel I shouldn't be the one making a comment here, since it is about a situation online I have never ever been even remotely close to and thus can't relate. *wink wink*

Jokes aside, cool idea, the rabbit hole of the internet fits the theme to a T! It did take a bit to get the whole mouse always is clicking part, once I did it went very well. And yeah, the whole jumpscare bit didn't work well for me since I was playing in a public place hahahah.
