Awesome! What a lovely game - instantly hit me with nostalgia! The core loop is engaging, the sfx are fun - and the art is immaculate! Oh my god, I love each and every one of these little creatures!
Special mention to the adorable pearl oysters and the big-eyed crabs darting between them!
The mushrooms are a funny touch - did you know, there are some aquatic species of mushroom? Famously they were found in rivers in the PNW. I don't think any are salt water oceanic species...

Some other nice touches:
The readability on the red 'aura' around garbage is very helpful
So cute how the fish scoot out of the way
The little squish-stretch jiggle on my octo-head - so cute!

Lovely graphics! But it's not that easy, although I've managed to score over 5k in 3rd run :p

I also had a problem with running the game in the browser (Google Chrome) but it worked on Firefox!
