First game and first game jam. I didn't really like the engine that I used, and I only had 2 days to make it, but I made something, and that's good enough for me.
You're on a boat, there's squids and boulders; don't touch 'em. That's it.

Congrats on making this game! What didn't you like about the engine? I really liked the sprites and animations you've made here, they look ace. The background and the rocks moving at different speeds make them feel like they were floating on the water (which I think was a cool effect for the tentacles...).

I had fun playing a few times, movement felt nice and the game looks good.

Not a bad little game! I think it would have benefited from some background music, sound effects and markers to show where the ship was going to stop (I thought I could move out further to the left and right since there were boulders and squids out there!) But overall, good job on getting it completed on your own in a weekend!
