Guildmaster Simulator game about managing an adventurers' guild in a medieval fantasy world.
After the defeat of the ancient god Xartanogg, it's gargantuan body sank into the earth, birthing the corrupted Sunken Womb, a land where monster-filled dungeons appear. If unchecked, these creatures threaten to overrun the surface. Thus, the god's shadow persists, demanding heroes to explore the Sunken Womb.
Though your centuries of experience lie beyond direct combat, your strategic mind remains sharp and you are well versed in the DEPTHS of managing an institution. Wield a new kind of power – leadership – to manage your Adventurer's Guild. Recruit promising heroes, hone their skills, and guide them on critical missions to conquer the dungeons, but time is not anyone's friend – can you unite your guild and strategically overcome this looming threat before it's too late?
Well, that was the initial premise: That was so obviously overscoped for a game jam, right? I knew, but I brainstormed multiple ideas for the jam and this one was, by far, the one that I wanted to create the most so I did, and what a good call because I had too much fun making this, even if it has only around 20% of the total features implemented, and even less than 1% of the total DEPTH of the intended gameplay loop (Because that'd take like a whole year).
I left the debugging options in the left menu open for everyone so that you can enjoy adding characters and missions as you please because, well, the game is not complete enough to enjoy the gameplay for too long so might as well give everyone the freedom to play around.
Right now, the game should be enjoyable for a nice 5 minutes for people that like games like Crusader Kings, Rimworld, or D&D fans that love watching procedurally generated characters. There are lots of things happening in the background of the gameplay, as all characters have a very DEEP AI script using a simple utility AI system that determines which action they take, right now it only covers a handful of possible actions, ideally a fully completed game would have +100.
If you would enjoy a fully-featured game like this, let me know! Leave in the comments what would you like to be added.
