Unfortunately, we lost our progress over the weekend due to an overly ambitious production on my part. We had to start over this morning, and this is what time allowed, sadly.
It was our first time working together on a game, and it was a lot of fun — I hope you enjoy at least this short gameplay of catching falling kittens :)
To play, just click on the box and catch everything that falls. If you lose all your lives, click the button to restart.

So cute! In some moments the cats stop appearing, but the idea is fun 😅

Nice and simple. I sure caught a lot of cats.
Finding opportunity to click the new box button was tricky.
A counter would have been nice seeing as the full boxes disappear and the money can be spent. I accumulated $106.

Cool game! The mechanic of buying new boxes to catch the cats was interesting, I hadn't seen that before. This really increased the challenge, adding new boxes on time while still focusing on the cats.
I was a bit overwhelmed after a bit due to playing with a crappy notebook touchpad - I'd have loved to have a shortcut key to buy a box, this would have made things easier. :D
But overall, cute game, nice style, with music, sounds and custom graphics - solid entry for a day!

Good sound design and nicely drawn cats. It’s so pity they splash instead of running away 😭
Interesting concept — it could really evolve into a great game. It actually reminds me of Flying Hero (1989) on the NES.

Uma ideia muito legal!
Triste ver os gatinho virando gemada, mas achei uma ideia muito boa pra um jogo.
Mesmo inacabado deu pra entender muito bem a proposta do jogo.

Condolences on having to start over—that’s rough! Your cats are adorable but I’ll admit I was aghast the first time I missed catching one :cry: Music was very charming. Hope things go more smoothly for your next game!

Damn i never felt so motivated. Was a bit difficult to buy new boxes mid game. The drawings are amazing and i love the 3D aspect.

Oh no the cats are so hard to catch and they go splat!
I'd love to have a keyboard hotkey to buy a new box, so I don't have to move my cursor all the way to the bottom corner. Not a big deal, since you can buy boxes in advance when you get a moment of downtime.
