So as you read you are about to run after a debtor. There will be a lot of stuff on your way. You'll have to go across that garbage if you want to catch up with the runner, who will just avoid these obstacles wasting speed.

Here's your controls:

Press W or up arrow to *jump*.

Hold W or up arrow to *jump higher*.

Press S or down arrow to *slide*.

Hold S or down arrow to *slide further*.

Very nice graphics. Music is an absolute banger I must say. Very glitchy tho, if you press medium difficulty you win immediately. Bounding boxes were huuuuge.

Ill update my rating :) I really like the music, I am not sure the game aligns with the theme very well though. I would have also liked a UI that showed how much health I have left. Jumping also feels very floaty and I understand that I need to press S to slide under the boxes, but despite not touching them in a "dangerous" way I took damage.

I liked the art style though and hope you can continue working on the game!

Nice little runner game! I liked the aesthetic, art and sound were quite good. The pacing was a little off, usually you stay on the left hand side of the screen a bit more so you can have a bit more time to react. Also some hitboxes were a bit strange. But overall nice work! I liked that you could jump to get a speed boost instead of just running.

@t-c I updated my rating! I am not sure if it is a bug on my side, but I was not able to start a run on medium or hard difficulty. I could only get the lowest one to start, which was quite slow and it felt like jumping over obstacles was made more difficult by how slow it was.

Very straightforward runner, I enjoyed it! It took some getting used to to the jumping and the hitboxes, but I was able to beat the game on the second try. I noticed that the obstacles sprites are a bit blurry, you probably need to disable linear interpolation for them, and the character is stuttering a bit when running. But otherwise I really liked the artstyle! Also love the story dialogue in the description - very well-written! Thanks for the ping @t-c!

Cool art and music! I especially liked the background art and the title screen animation. Some notes on the gameplay:
- It would be better to have the player character on the left side of the screen, so you could see more of what's in front of you and the person you're chasing. Right now there is a lot of unused space.
- Some of the obstacles blend into the background too much. The hitboxes are also slightly too big.
- The game kind of ends abruptly when you get close to the debtor, which feels a bit weird.

This one’s pretty good. There's a few glitches, it can be hard to tell the difference between certain obstacles and the background, and the running feels a little bit slow for my taste, but I adore the art style and the music for this game, and the game play itself is relatively solid

Very cool idea! It was a little difficult to tell which things were obstacles, which were pickups, and which were background. Collision detection was also a little difficult, with some objects hitting you before the character overlaps with them, which made it hard to judge the right timing to avoid the obstacles. I like the graphics/music and the framing narrative, and it was cool that you added different areas to add variety, as well as pickups and stuff. There's a lot of good ideas here, keep it up and keep practicing your skills and you will become able to do great things!
