I like how bouncy the sprites are, that gives it a lot of charm. The controls are a bit twitchy, though, which keeps this from being as cozy as it could be.

The art, animations, and sounds are very well done. I noticed that the player tends to slide off the edge of platforms, but otherwise its a great entry!

Really funny reversal of the theme, had a good laugh as soon as I opened the page.

Was a bit too difficult for me though, gave up in level 7 - the jumps get insanely precise starting at level 5. Got too frustrating by then but was fun until. Good work!

Very fun game!

Super polished feeling game, really liked how everything felt and the concept was great. Unfortunately Level 5 was just too precise, didn't feel fair. Overall great entry though, just needs some more balance in the level design.

Coyote time, можно прыгнуть из воздуха, если только что сошел с платформы

Игра атмосферная. Кот делает всё как надо :slight_smile:
Но сложность 5 уровня зашкаливает. Один раз удалось забраться на верхнюю полку.

First I was thinking "poor wizard has to go and put things back on the shelves" but towards the middle I started hating him!

Haha, that was funny. The take of the theme is hilarious :) And I love how the cat look :) I have also problem with level 5. Other than that nice little game!

Okay, this is more fun than it looks. And it is also surprisingly challenging. The old wizard moves quite fast in early levels. But that's probably just because I'm a noob haha. Also extra points for the audio haha. The dead "meow" always got me!

5th level is the hardest one :sob:

Cool game, it really captures the jam’s theme. I couldn’t get past level 6, but it’s awesome that the wizard gets a new ability each time.

Great game! The later levels are surprisingly difficult.

For a game with a simple premise the levels can get surprisingly difficult (having to platform to the objects and get the right timing for when to knock things over). The art was simple yet effective, the shader and particle effects really enhance the visuals. Good job :)

Nice puzzle game with really tough controls (couldn't finish Lvl.8). But still fun and art is cozy!

its a nice idea, and cool mechanic too. Wished controls were a bit tighter and the game a bit more responsive. It becomes a game about fighting the controls after a while unfortunately

What a cute game! I was very worried the cat sounds were going to wake my sleeping cat in the other room though hahaha (he thankfully remains sound asleep on the couch)

The character controller felt really good - The buffered jump inputs were super helpful in making those split-second jumps you needed to make in later levels, and it was great that you had coyote time implemented, because otherwise I would have driven myself crazy trying to make the jump on level 5 😂

That one jump is probably my only piece of feedback about the design - It felt really unintuitive that you *needed* to use coyote time in order to duck under the shelf and clear the jump. I spent most of my playtime on that one jump, trying it again and again, until finally I realized I could probably do it via coyote time after dropping off the platform. I suspect the average player might not have that realization though, and would think that they'd have to jump from the platform, not from the air slightly below the platform 😅

Overall, well done! It felt good to control, the graphics were cute, and I had fun!

cant pass last level, but its really funny when you find out this oldman can cast fireballs and teleport

Cute little aesthetic and a good use of tween animations. Controls are very vertical but it works for the game :smile:

Oh, I absolutely get it lol - I was shuffling around the order of levels in my game in the ten minutes before the jam ended, and have no idea why I landed on the order that I ended up submitting 😅😂

I don't think that one jump detracted from the rest of the fun though! :)

Gameplay was pretty challenging but also tightening.

A very challenging game!! I got stuck for a while in some levels. The visual effect was very unique and cute. That cat looks very cunning.
