Goblins n' Ghosts (MAKAIMORA)

A wonderful hardcore action platformer. The music is amazing and you'll want to listen to it even separately from the game.
It's better to play with a gamepad.
It would be nice to see an alternative keyboard layout. For example A/D move, J-shoot, K-jump

The graphics and music are great, I love the title embedded in the level, I really like it.... on the other hand the collisions are a bit harsh... but it's very nice

A delightful throwback to the NES days. I do think the game spawns too many enemies if you linger at one area, though.

Super solid entry! the NES style pixel art style fits really well. Glad that the health pickups were pretty generous. pleasantly surprised that there not 1 but 2 bosses! You guys did great :)

Ghouls and ghosts meet dangerous dave, I'd say! Very old school and stylish. Polished too. Overall a great entry!

Music is stuck in my head

Great retro-styled entry! The beginning is a bit brutal as it is easy to get overwhelmed by enemies, but then once you reach the first boss I felt it was just the right amount of difficulty. It is pretty similar to Ghosts N' Goblins so can't really go wrong, the pixel art is great, it controls with no issue : overall a very solid entry, congrats!

Somewhat unlikely but definitely possible in the future. As a straight-to-Newgrounds title perhaps? I'm already working on following up our previous two entries as a fantasy console sandbox game so look forward to that first!

Good entry! I love retro-vibes and 8-bit visual and music. The player's control feels a bit hard, especially a delay in animation before jump

Maaaaaaaaaaan that was tough! I played ghouls and ghost ( aka ghouls and ghosts ) on the mega-drive. Really liked the enemy types - once the ghosts came out it was hard to avoid death. One small thing, would be vertical shooting, especially trying to take out the flying enemies like the ghosts and eyeballs ✌

It's a killer!
