STORY:
The silence in St. Mary's Church was special, thick and sweet, like a Mother's heart that had just been torn out. Her silence was broken only by the flickering flames of the lights, and occasionally the distant hum of voices coming from the street. The air was filled with the scent of celebration, dampness, and freshly painted eggs neatly arranged in baskets by the statue of the Virgin.
It was in this reverent silence that the Great War began.
For a reason known only to a few, Monty, the pastor of St. Mungo's Church, was the first to go crazy. He was old, conservative, and believed that Easter meant rigor, order, and symmetrically laid eggs.
By taking the rabbit mask off the altar and following your high standards. He began meticulously and meticulously shooting parishioners.…
