WOW, what a beautiful game! I assume you are still in the process of finishing touches/uploading, since there's only a non-live web build at this page (which I was able to run locally), and the character keeps getting stuck on a previous screen. Please ping me when everything's ready, I'd love to play it until the end!
@theoratkin everything is ready, thank you for your kind words and understanding)

@mrv just finished it, quite enjoyable platformer with nice variety of movement mechanics! I liked the level design, it was just challenging enough to keep things interesting and not frustrating. And of course the art is really beautiful!
The biggest plus are the graphics, the artists poured themselves into the art. The game plays decently well, although lacking in some places (I'd add coyote jump, ensure consistent behavior of platforms and try to fix the death sound that doesn't play in its' entirety and it's inconsistent). Reminds me of Super Meat Boy with dreamy aesthetic. The theme fits lorewise, no mechanic was created to support it and it's a shame. Overall enjoyable experience, great job c:
Cool idea! I found the platformer controls a bit hard to manage and it didn’t feel very smooth for me. Also, in the first level, I got stuck between the ground and a platform. Aside from that, I liked the atmosphere and art style!
That walk animations is so nice. I did disliked the huge contrast on speed and jumping height (suspect this was for easier level design). The controls are litle slidy but the generally nice. Funny how you did not reset momentum on death :D. Lead to so many times me dashing to spikes and immediatly respawn and keep my momentum to dash into them again, or fall into ground xd. Level design was nice and on the edge of almost too hard for me but i did get past the levels (thank you for having easy ends on hard start rooms). Seems like it works on controller but you did not bind dash to anything?
Visually pleasing, but the platforming implementation is weak. Jumps are very drawn out, levels are too difficult, and movement is too fluid. All these effects making playing is devastating. A good prototype, but it still needs a lot of work.
I really like the visual style, with single hue levels. It was always clear to me where I can jump and where I cannot which is important in this genre.
I didn't beat all the levels, I got stuck at the blue world on a level with "space x2 to double jump" hint, but it's just a skill issue.
The moveset and level design are pretty standard for platformer games and tested my skill at performing all kinds of moves.
I didn't really enjoy controlling the character, to be honest. I think the character has a very high horizontal speed, but needs slower acceleration. I kept pressing a directional button for a couple frames and moving farther than I wanted. Also, the character kept "sticking" to platforms without falling which was a bit annoying too. But other than these 2 issues, controls are good.
Also, while I liked the music track, maybe it's not the best fit for a challenging platformer?
The most fun I had with this one was spamming the dash into the obstacles to play some piece of audio that is always cut off (probably playing in the character which is destroyed and reset). I had no clue what the intro image was supposed to represent and it felt like I accidentally stumbled into the game. The controls were tight and respawning was fast to counteract the level difficulty. I was going to write that you could get stuck on the platforms' sides but that turned out to be a mechanic in the later levels.
Great graphics and mood, loved the environments. I had some trouble with the controls, and in one level I seemed to die when touching the floor beneath the spikes (I believe it was the second level of the final sphere where you probably need to dash to get from one side to the other, but I jumped thinking it would be safe but then got killed by the hitbox of the spikes above.)
Still, really cool little platformer. Nicely done!
Not a bad game for a jam. Platformers aren't really my thing, but it was fun to play (but it was really hard for me to play in some moments. I thought it`s because i`m not really in platformers, but when I read a comments I realised I`m not alone like that)
