@nekobones@slurp@arnazian Hey guys I'm so sorry I didn't realize it was still private! its open now thanks for checking out our game in advance!
I think this might be the funniest game I've played so far! The first attachment I picked up was a vertical grip and nothing could have prepared me for the reveal that I could only attach it as an optic and that in fact mounting a vertical grip on the top of my gun gave me perfect accuracy! By the time I was finished I had mounted a ring of four sights i couldn't use on the end of my barrel just for fun. Incredible game, nothing else has made me laugh this hard! :D
Definitely a fun experience, one of the funniest in this Ludum for me, loved the concept big time, this modding game gamed modding and I am all for it! :D
In games I really don't love a lot of things more than weapon customization so this entry is a huge yes for me. There are a bit of jank in camera & movement but I think it's pretty managable and enjoyable in its own way. I especially love the absurd speed of sprinting. The starting gun is a bit harsh in terms of stats but I think it fits the game's direction pretty well. Once I got my first pieces of weapon mod it became exponentially easier. Though after a few runs through the missions I can't seem to get any mod that affects the fire rate which I wanted the most. Either way, Using weapon mods as a measure of progression works really well with me. The weapon edit menu at this stage can use a bit more work such as not allowing duplicate parts (or allow the player to delete them) and giving different mods different art though I suppose that'd be a lot of effort. Also love the theme of the maps. I'd be really excited to play the game if it got more polish and development.
The concept of the game is good, but the gameplay details and overall polish are still lacking. The current game has quite a few issues, such as the complete absence of sound effects feedback, being almost invincible when crouching, and the firearm customization interface having icons that look the same and lacking a full preview, which sometimes makes it almost impossible to know what attachments you have.
Great job! Really like the concept. It’s a bit tricky to shoot the enemies at first (maybe I’m just bad at FPS), but it gets more interesting once I start getting more parts to build my weapon.
This is an amazing game! I had a lot of fun playing. Obviously it's in a very raw state, but the scope of this idea is huge for a 3 day jam and only 2 developers. I can see this idea growing into something really fun
