Ludum Dare 58 entry "Hammaspeikko" for Team Squirrel. Offline does allow coop one player moves with awsd, the other arrow keys, but camera is messed up.

Online play should be working, Feel free to click "create account" at the top of the login screen and make a user. Or feel free to use the test user. If you have any issues with the game or otherwise want to leave feedback or follow our development, feel free to hop in our discord and let us know!

All 3d assets, animations, graphics, coding, etc. was created by the three of us during the jam. We did use the snopek games webrtc demo as a base to get the nakama matchmaking and things working, but this is a very different game than what was included in that demo (for starters it was 2d and ours is 3d lol). We did not use any ai generated assets

@xlores-liang I'm sorry to hear that Dx Is this on the "offline" mode? The "offline" mode unfortunately has some weird behavior we didn't get the time to quite fix all the issues and would like to do a post-jam version. Sometimes even in the online mode this can happen after respawning. And thank you so much for playing!

Difficult to test alone but tried to keep both in same place to see them both. All teeth were not clear at first and those boxes to interact with. Impressive to see online multiplayer in jam like this!

I absolutely love this game! At first, I was a bit shocked — as the tooth fairy, the character looked kind of scary. 😅 But once I actually started playing, that feeling completely disappeared! The gameplay is super fun — since I played alone, I controlled the two characters using ASWD and the arrow keys at the same time, which felt like a coordination workout for my hands, haha! I really, really enjoyed it, and I honestly hope to see it on steam some day!!!

And were there any logs in the console? If you want, you can join our discord and we can try to diagnose in real time. But yeah understandable if you don’t feel up to it thanks for notifying us I will investigate this

Sure. I am happy to help you debug. Last time I played the web version, and I just tried the Windows version. I think my internet might had issues last time, but now it’s working fine and I can create room now. Does this screenshot mean I have successfully created a room, but no one else has joined yet?

Thanks for verifying though! You should be able to open the game in another browser tab, or launch the standalone, or on your phone or similar device. So you can create a room and another client can join. You do need to click the "refresh rooms" button (We should probably put this on a timer thanks for bringing this to our attention).

Note, there is currently a bug that's non-trivial for us to solve where if a browser client is the host and they alt+tab away or lose focus on the game, everyone will lag and status will not update (no RPCs will complete until the game window gains focus again). So if you notice weird behavior try making sure the browser game tab is the current window, or try cycling focus through all the clients.

Oh yes, sorry that I forgot to upload the screenshot. I have edited my previous post and added the screenshot. I managed played with two tabs just now, and the game idea is cool!
