Welcome to Waifu Maxing, my entry for Ludum Dare's "Collector" theme!

Don't tell my mom I made this, She's already very disapointed

Your goal is simple but challenging: to prove you're the ultimate master by defeating and collecting every single waifu in a series of 1-on-1 duels.

How to Play

The UI is a bit messed up from the embedding

The game is a pure, turn-based battle of wits. The loop is fast and addictive:

1. Choose Your Champion: Select a waifu from your currently unlocked collection.
2. Pick Your Target: Select a locked waifu you want to challenge and add to your roster.
3. Duel!: Face your opponent in battle. You both have 4 unique skills. Plan your moves, manage your health, and defeat them!

4. Collect!: If you win, you unlock your opponent! They are now available to use as your champion in the next fight.
5. Repeat!: Take your new waifu into battle and continue collecting until you have them all.

The Goal

Can you defeat every character and achieve 100% collection? The victory screen awaits the one true Waifu Maxer!
