The main mechanic is visually interesting. I did find myself playing around with the doppler effects a bit. That said, I’m not sure it really adds much to the core Flappy Bird style gameplay. I could see mainly because the game forces you to jump, not because I was choosing to use the mechanic, so the visibility ended up feeling more like a side effect than something I was actively using.

the death animation and sound are so funny xd Hope I didn't bonk his head too hard. I was wondering how did the bat end up getting named Borjomi and is it any way connected to the mineral wwater..

I like the idea, and the art for the lil bat guy, but it feels like it's missing a lot of what made Flappy Bird fun. It gets you addicted to chasing new high-scores because the rounds start out difficult and only get more difficult, which means you're never bored and the rounds are usually short enough that they get you wanting to give it another go.
For this game though, I felt like it was more of an endurance test for my wrist to keep clicking. The jump was maybe a little too small. It signaled so often that the limited vision didn't have much of an impact besides giving me a bit of a headache haha. I still enjoyed it!! But I didn't feel that drive to play another round.

@anete-ainjarv You are spot on! We got drunk in the sauna and named the poor little guy after our favorite mineral water. Still waiting for sponsorship though.

this is such a trippy inversion of a game that i was already bad at XD Art is beaut and so is sfx and music. The sonar pulse works really well. Loved the game over transition too!

Cool signal idea with sonar flappy bat game. Actually quite fun, after a few goes this was my top score. I think I need more practise :smile:

Cute! Implementing the theme into a familiar gameplay loop is a good idea. I think you could expand on the idea even more with the echo location aspect to add new mechanics over the core flappy bird gameplay.
