Forlornicon: Shoopert's Werid Dream Demo

Shoopert shooperts shoops, until he notices one flower just doesn't look right.
A fast occult browser roguelite where underground gods, wandering traders, and unstable little ecosystems collide.

In another life...

You are a Shoopert, a lonely shepherd of Shoops, dragged into a bad dream that keeps getting deeper.

What starts as a small evening routine turns into a fast tile-based descent through cursed voices, unstable masks, wandering fixers, hungry beasts, and small yet surprising living systems. Shoops breed behind bushes. Flowers hide lurkers. Traders can become ascendants. Ascendants can lose their mask.

Don't step in it!

The level variety is lacking, I admit, but I tried to publish this extra entry as soon as possible. Systems-wise, I already got a lot of ground covered:

* fast turn-based dungeon crawling
* three occult voices with radically different pacts and skills to choose from
* entities that may evolve/ devolve based on their environment
* weird ecology: flowers, grass, shoops, shit, spikes

Inspiration

There was this incredible dungeon-crawler browsergame while I was growing up. No idea what its name was, but I played it way too much! I think it was partly procgen, and had very different deities you could enlist yourself to with kiss/curse skills and a huge variety of gameplay modifiers. My game basically tries to be better, admittedly, it is not at this point :D

Aesthetically, I was no doubt inspired by Wildermyths glorious cardboard-cutouts-in-3D design. I myself am a huge Wildermyth fan
