I think I understood the basic idea. It's a shame the game wasn't finished and released, as it has potential.
Tower Defense plus Signal Recovery is an interesting combination of genres.

How do you build turrets?

The game seems to be playable online now, but I also can't do anything but walk around as soon as I start the round. Am I missing something?

Edit: I found out how to build turrets. You have to do it before starting the round by hovering the mouse over the lightning symbols and pressing E
Still don't get the radio signal part though
