RED SIGNAL PROCOTOL
We are operators in a control tower during the Cold War, tension is at its peak; at any moment, the opposing bloc could decide to launch an atomic bomb. You are the bulwark tasked with the heavy responsibility of determining whether the signals received via your instruments indeed indicate an attack or not. If you make a mistake, you could unwittingly plunge humanity into a nuclear war.
During the game the player must decide whether or not the enemy bloc is launching missiles. At the start of the game, the opposing bloc tends not to launch many missiles, but the player will have to deal with false positives (atmospheric disturbances, space debris, sunlight reflecting off clouds). If the player makes frequent mistakes, tension between the factions rises, making it more likely that real missiles will be launched. Be careful: if the player makes too many mistakes, they may face a nuclear missile and will have to make the ultimate decision. Conversely, if the player makes the right decisions, they will survive long enough for the war to end.
