Bro the thumbnail, description, menu... nothing could have possibly prepared me for the absolutely peak gameplay I just experienced. Phenomenal game and even better voice acting great work!
I read the instructions, I did, and it still didn't prepare me. It took me a few times to really understand how to do things but after I did it was pretty addicting
it's hard for me to rate the gameplay since the game lags massively every time I try to shoot something, it literally freezes on every click. I also think I'm just not the target audience for this type of game, I find the humor style kind of grating even though I can see why many people would enjoy it.
more importantly though, I recognize the song used and know for a fact you did not create it (the song is ダーク - RAVE by drxk: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PTZgxW_3LIQ), yet this is not disclosed anywhere nor have you opted out of the audio category. it's important to credit your sources, because now all I can think about is what else might have been taken without attribution even if it might just be the bgm.
I'm lowkey not this game's target generation fr, so my first reaction was big yikes. I thought I would get the ick or find it cringe, but highkey this game was pretty based. I'm a bit of an unc so I'm pretty washed and died a lot, but I took a couple dubs, not even cap. Not saying I'm cracked, but I might be entering my mid era.
Anyway, enough yapping. Just saying: you understood the assignment. You locked in, sat up straight, and you cooked until it hit different.
Maybe it's okay Ludum Dare is ending... :laughing:

I'd appreciate a version of the game from the jam, since it seems like the only one linked is to the post-jam version. But I did genuinely have a good time with this. You did exactly what you set out to do and did it well. Nicely done guys.

@xaklor Thank you so much for pointing this out! It slipped our minds entirely to add proper credit to the songs used in the game. We've added links to each of the songs in the Itch description as well as credit in the game menu, and have decided to opt out of audio for this competition due to this oversight. Thanks again for notifying us to this.
Not my type of humor but I find quiet charming voice acting (tho it quickly becomes too repetitive for my ears), and smiled at "Cappuccino Assassino".
Unfortunately game really badly lags with every shot while progress in activating towers (toilets ig) wasn't being saved and there was a lot of enemies to deal with, so I didn't go farther than 2 towers. I suppose the way would be to get more levels to quicker kill enemies, so you could have time to activate towers. But as it is now it lags too much for me to continue
