After Anthropocene

After Anthropocene is the narrative-driven short story about things, which overstayed intended lifetime.

Controls: WASD, E, P (mute/unmute music). I suggest playing this game on itch.io (https://richardroe.itch.io/after-anthropocene).

This is my second attempt at Ludum Dure.

Used software: Unity3D, Blender, LMMS, Paint.NET, Python, NoiseAlchemy.

@sqqqwer I'm glad you appreciated my game. Honestly, it was the first time ever I tried to produce some even basic music. I googled how to do ambient and played with notes and FXs.

Got to the ending in the roof, even though at some point I got myself lost and couldn't see anything at all! XD Very atmospheric.

Really moody and atmospheric project! The dynamic lighting in the dark corridors creates such a lonely, tense vibe, and the premise about relics that outstayed their intended lifetime is a really cool, poetic take on Old Tech. Great pacing and mood for a solo Compo! Left full ratings across the board!
If you have a minute later to check out more jam projects, we’d love if you took a look at our game Meow Bomb as well. Best of luck with the jam!

@notnasiul Thanks! In initial version it was even more dark, but I decided to add more lighting sources.

@nursultan Thank you. I'm kinda disappointed in this project, because it can't give you anything besides vibes, but I really happy to hear you enjoyed it. Generally, I prefer to check only online project, for obvious reasons, but I will play your game. Just a little later.
