Repair old and worn-out GameToys from your local neighborhood! Clean off the dust, fix broken parts, build fully modded GameToys, and receive lovely (and sometimes strange) letters from your customers.
Broken, Repair! is a pixel art simulation game where you run your own local repair shop.
Features - Around 15 minutes of gameplay - Play at your own pace - Secrets and hidden lore to discover - An ending you probably won't see coming
I love the vibes! Sadly, the game lagged really badly when I started trying to use the brush, so I didn't leave a rating but I figured I'd let you know in case it was something you could fix. I was running in Windows Firefox. It seemed like it might have lagged every time a dust cloud particle effect went off, but I'm not 100% sure, it was generally just very stop and go
Very cute cleanup/repair game! I'm not sure if this was intentional, but I was able to get multiple game toys to spawn and I would just cleanup and steal parts from one of the extras to form fully repaired ones, thought that was neat. I wish there was a way to open the menu without having to press tab so that the whole game could be played with just mouse. Great job!
This is so addictive! Very satisfying interactions and a good complexity. Together with the music, this could be a cozy endless game (for the jam it's probably good it has an end). One part that tripped me up a bit was which ~~gameboy~~ GameToy was for which order and how much I would be getting paid for it. I ended up getting paid very little ($3) for some devices where put in new bought parts (but then probably got paid more than I should on others where I scavenged parts from other devices).
The customization options are nice, but there need to be more ;) Including translucent shells!
Oh, I love this kind of game! There's something really satisfying and cozy about fixing up old hardware. I'm actually making a vintage revolver restoration game myself, so this one caught my eye right away. Nice work!

I really loved the fact we could put it apart and clean the inside! Amazing job!
