@neowhoru Yeah there was supposed to be a lot more in the middle, There was a squeaky hammer, and a foam finger, and a frying pan, a brick, all kinds of stuff. So it was supposed to ramp up a bit more but balance and game jam as usual XD
Well, i see that you took the reference from "Kick The Buddy", BUT isnt a bad thing, i still found this game really fun, wish there were more weapons to destroy, but still very good
@smerdyaisaurus Yeah there was supposed to be a bunch more, I had to cut like at least half if not more for time. I don't think I actually know "Kick the Buddy" hahaha I looked it up and it seems like a sequel or spiritual successor to "Interactive Buddy" an old flash game, I played that DECADES ago on Newgrounds haha! That was like middle school or high school for me haha. In fact I plan to publish the web version to Newgrounds eventually once there's more content.
But yeah very much in that sort of vein, after the jam is over I will have an update with more stuff at the least. I mentioned earlier but there's at least a squeaky hammer, and a foam finger, a frying pan, and a brick to add. I also want to add the sun, maybe a bat, and a chainsaw.
I think you found a really good idea also really suitable with the concept. I just didn't get the 2nd and 3rd ways to destroy the phone cause first one was easier and effective more.
A missile aimed at a phone that still has Snake on the screen is a pretty good summary of the idea haha. Going from punching it to military hardware fits the old indestructible-phone joke well. The extra tools you mentioned in the comments sound like they'd make that escalation even funnier.
If you have a moment, I'd appreciate a rating on my latest game, Robot Workshop.
