It was really cool to visit (even if just virtually) the old-school arcades. I’ve always been terrible at these kinds of mini-games, but I still had a lot of fun.
You really fooled me with the images on the page—I assumed it was a *WarioWare*-style game, featuring a collection of various mini-games.
I played through all of them, and they all feel very faithful to the originals. That said, there are a few minor bugs—like not being able to pick up the tickets in the hammer game, or the "ghost" tickets in the dance game.
In the end, I wanted to claim a prize, but I couldn't. I’m not sure if it was because I didn't have enough tickets, or if it’s just not possible to get one at all.
Oh, and I ended up peeing my pants! The bathroom door was locked. :D
Awesome entry! The core mechanics feel very intuitive, and the controls are responsive and smooth right from the start. It’s always tough to get the gameplay loop feeling this solid within a 72-hour timeframe, so great job on the execution! Left my scores. Feel free to drop by our page to try out our cat bomb-making game as well — I’ve uploaded a fresh alternative build with gameplay tweaks and fixes here: https://naiper.itch.io/meow-bomb-by-naiper
Great atmosphere and fun concept, just a bit rough around the edges!
Ski ball was a rough one start on, as the balls just kept getting stuck. Might be a framerate based physics issue? Couldn't move away from a machine until the game finished, which was frustrating for trying to test each of the games. Would be cool to be able to make tickets part of the gameplay loop, and unlock new games that require more tokens to play, and exchange tickets for "upgrades" and more tokens, or at least get some cosmetic things.
Great old-school arcade atmosphere! I wish I could exchange the tickets I earned for prizes at the counter. Those prizes could also add progression between runs, like extra tokens for the next run or ticket multipliers for specific minigames. That would give me a reason to keep coming back!
