Controls - You can rebind keys directly on the control panel and set them up however you like! - Different legs/wheels have different controls, so its important to set it up the way you like it.
Build your robot, wire your controls and face the unrelenting AI forces.
@strikeoo Yes, i really don't know why i forgot to add mouse click. Every time i played i kept saying that i needed to support mouse click since it is closest to that jetfighter aim and fire feeling but i kept forgetting. Thank you for your feedback!
As a mech enjoyer i have no other choice than love this one, the visuals are crazy, sound is also good (had some cracks).
Before seeing the UI, i didn't understand how to move and even after knowing how to, it feels not natural. Move and fight at the same time is hard due to controls being to close.
I ended my play in a sumo match due to being moved outside the battle circle and unable to come back.
Wow! This is literally one of those games I dreamed of playing as a kid! A badass robot made up of different modules, each with its own mechanics, a cool control panel, and tons of enemies to fight!
One small issue: I couldn't figure out how to restart the level after losing. Refreshing the page does the trick, though!
The game is really fun and interesting! I love the mech’s visual style and customization options. I’m making a similar game myself. The way the awkward controls add to the difficulty is really cool, though there are so many keys that one hand on the keyboard isn’t enough. I’d love an auto-aim option so I could control the mech with both hands on the keyboard.
@empeurman Yes some of the chassis are very hard to control. Spiderlegs is my favourite and easiest to control, it needs some more polish. Thank you for your feedback!
@leandre00 Interesting, can you link me the advertisement? Is it still available? Would love to check it out.
@skigfx Yeah m2, it's actually inspired by Smash TV. I will most likely continue on this project to make it a full game.
Super great art style, love the procedural / IK animations for the robo legs. Also noticed the water SFC / shader / particles, nice touch! I only wish there was a way I could not have to use my mouse. I ended using my left hand for all the buttons and the way I had to do that made my wrist start hurting as I was playing. I love rougelites/likes, well done!
wait in the screenshot the button are different... hold up... trying again.
OOOOkay you can edit buttons and I just found a chasis that has a gyro lock (aim at nearest enemy).
Alrigth upon replaying with a better understanding any constructive feedback I had was mostly due to me not understanding all the mechanics in the game. Upgraded all my stuff to max and had a good time crushing waves of enemies!
@isaac-hisey thank you! Yeah now when you mention it perhaps i should have just skipped entirely. Would have felt better to control the robot with only left and right part of the keyboard. Thank you for the input!
Yes there is actually different controls for different legs/wheels/spiderlegs etc.
Yeah I tried the track instead of the spider legs and immediate reloaded the browser LOL, its a great idea don't get me wrong, my hand-eye coordination is just not quite good enough for that XD
Once I figured out the rebinding though, all issues melted away and I was able to have a really fun time!
Its been said enough before, but the default keybinds aren't too intuitive, i either had to stretch one hand or move the other off my mouse which meant I couldnt aim anymore. Other than that, once rebound it was awesome. Great graphics, fun and varied gameplay!

Im a big fan of the big colorful numbers :)
The movement feelt really mechanical and switching between the different legs was very apparent.
I think I wasnt the biggest fan on the energy -- but I think I understand why you need it to balance the game (quite early in the clip)
I was also confused a bit about the shop and inventory.... See at the end of this clip?
I will actually do a major post jam update with a lot of improvements so stay tuned if you want to play more in the future.
Thank you for the feedback, really appreciate it!
