Skyrail Postmaster

A cozy steampunk mail game about a tiny sky train, a scattered island community, and a letter with no name.

It's your first day as postmaster of the Skyrail, a little steam train linking floating islands that drifted apart long ago. The islanders rarely meet. The mail is how they stay connected, and now it's in your hands.

Sort parcels, ride the rails, read the gossip, and get to know the locals: a grumpy inventor whose toaster launches bread across the sky, a grandmother who knits scarves for her pigeons, and a kid who just *really* wants his telescope to arrive.

But an unsigned, lavender-scented letter has! turned up in the dead-letter drawer. Someone remembers a comet from fifty years ago. And the comet is coming back tonight.

How to play

1. Sort the mail. Drag each parcel into the right mailbag. In the morning they have coloured stamps. Later, you'll have to work out who they're for from clues like *"To the gentleman whose toaster launches bread."*
2. Pick a stop. Tap an island on the map, then press Depart.
3. Enjoy the ride. Sit back while the train chugs across the sky.
4. Deliver and chat. Hand over the post. Residents often give you a reply to carry somewhere else.
5. Head home when your bags are empty, then start the next journey.

There are three journeys in one day: morning, afternoon and evening. The clues get trickier as the day goes on.

Tips

- Read the postcards. Sealed letters are private, but postcards can be flipped over. That's where the best gossip is.
- Check your notebook. Anything useful a resident says is saved there automatically. It's your hint system and your evidence board.
- Read the Skyrail Gazette. The local gossip sheet reacts to what you deliver. Someone seems to know an awful lot...
- You can't fail. Wrong bag? The parcel bounces back. Wrong island? You'll just get a funny reaction and can try again.

I played it for a bit—the art is excellent, the gameplay is pretty relaxing, and the mail delivery loop is clear and easy to follow.

This is so charming and so polished! The art, the UI and the little characters feel like a finished cozy game, not a jam entry. Sorting the post by stamp color is simple, but the gossip and the islanders make every bag feel personal, and the unsigned lavender letter is a lovely hook. One of my favorites so far, great job!

Thank you folks!
We wanted to make something that would bring a little touch of calm and coziness when it's cold and unsettling outside.
Thanks for your feedback, it means a lot!

The game is extremely well-made. It's so exquisite and it's a fantastic job! I have difficulty reading in English, but since the game is very relaxing and there are no failure penalties, I can focus on reading the story without any pressure. The atmosphere is relaxed and imaginative. Thank you to the author for creating such a wonderful world.

Credits mention "design, code and writing". Does that mean graphics and audio are pre-made assets/AI generated? If so, I think it's only fair that this is declared as you've made yourself eligible for voting in these categories and the art seems by far the most complimented on aspect of the game.
