Your task is to search the office for anomalies-relics of old technology from the 2000s. We advise you not to rush and to double-check everything; otherwise... well, you’ll see for yourself!
It really looks like it was made with passion for this genre! I loved the environment and the scary vibe, it's quite easy but I really enjoyed it! Congrats ^---^ 🐼
Cool P.T. and Exit 8 style concept that fits the theme really well! It is impressive how much you managed to put together for a jam without major bugs. A few things felt a bit rough though: the audio is way too loud, the screen filter is quite distracting, and the monster chase with hiding behind a tiny cart felt more frustrating than scary. Yet, big respect to the team for getting all of this done in time!
@mmm1008fm Thanks for the feedback! Yes, there are some shortcomings - many of them a matter of personal taste - but we’ve already taken them into account!
An interesting game that constantly makes you wonder if you're doing something wrong. I think that's exactly what the developer was aiming for, and he pulled it off perfectly. I also liked the graphics and the game's overall atmosphere.
I made it to Level 5 and then stopped playing because I didn’t understand what “progress” meant or why it was necessary here.
@eonesets Thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately, you stopped right at the point where everything behind the door begins to unfold. We’d love it if you could find the time to play through the whole thing from start to finish!
YOOO EXIT 8!!! Making old office tech the things you're hunting for in an anomaly game is a cool take on the theme. I like the VHS look too, and that limbed creature in the doorway is properly creepy hahah Horror games are hard,, but you guys really did a great job.
BTW i really liked the red light -- it helped, and let me actaully get to the twist in the game that makes it different from exit 8.
Here is a playthrough vid in case its helpful for you guys:
That monster gave me the heebie-jeebies, until up to the point where I messed up the breathing like 4 times in a row, then he just annoyed me and wish I could find a shotgun Doom style. Very well put together and very atmospheric games, one of the best I played this jam so far!
this one got me good, the whole 2000s office full of old relics is such a perfect fit for the theme and the atmosphere is way creepier than i expected from an anomaly hunt. the red light does make it a bit too easy, but honestly i didn't mind because i just wanted to keep walking around and looking at all the stuff. did you randomize the anomaly pool per run, or is it a fixed set? either way, really strong work for a jam.
I spent the first 40 minutes just going back to where I came from. Then I realized that apparently neither the multifunction printer behind the door nor the old button phones count as old tech.
The music is absolutely fantastic, though!
I also met another guy who was working late at this same office. We had a little chat about how neither of us wanted to spend our lives trapped in an office, so we decided to start our own business — a small brick factory. After all, I've got plenty of experience now.
Nice game really liked how proffiiently you've used your resources by choosing anomaly genre but the red light kinda annoying and more of a linear plot
Great entry well done! I don't like horror games much, but I enjoyed this one. The rules were clear, I got scared once because I was running away and thought "I wonder if I've gained any distance" did a quick 360 and saw that MF RIGHT BEHIND ME, like hand in my back pockets! Gave me a little jump lol. Good job.
At first I thought it was just a super easy anomaly game since they were literally highlighted in red haha. But then the monster showed up and I realized what was actually going on! Totally caught me off guard—scared the crap out of me in the best way. Loved the sudden shift into horror. The individual parts like the graphics, sound, and gameplay are definitely pretty rough around the edges, but honestly? I had an absolute blast. Super fun experience!

Best of luck to the developer!
