About
Clock in for work, sit at your desk, and work your shift! Callers ring in asking for a line number, a name, or worse, only an address. You try to find them in the phone book or the district papers, then drag a wire between the right slots on the switchboard before the call goes cold.
Each workday ends with a performance report.Do good and you come back tomorrow. Fall short and you're out.
---
How to play
Mouse only.
1. Clock in - punch your card to start the workday.
2. Answer - click a ringing diode (or plug into it) to pick up the caller.
3. Look up - click the book or papers to zoom in; use the page arrows to browse.
4. Connect - drag a cord plug from the caller’s jack to the destination jack.
5. Survive the day - finish the shift!

@maxxxmax I thought we fixed the bug during the development but obviously wasn't a good enough fix x)
@unpickel We did ponder a long time on the difficulty balancing, and settled on a frozen timer for the first call of the first three days, so player can get used with the different mechanics of the game. Glad you liked it!
@gamescodedogs Thank you for playing the game! Happy you loved it!
@estelgames We’re really glad the concept stood out and fit the theme well! Papers, Please was definitely a big inspiration (you might even recognize good ol' Jorji for one of the outline we made for the callers)
@codeman Had to make sure the job felt authentic lol.
@nikitastarostin Thank you so much for the detailed feedback! Really glad you enjoyed the concept, the flow, and the voice effects! We actually had a hard time deciding whether to make the game easier or keep the challenge, but in the end we settled on making the start a bit easier so the game would be more accessible to everyone
Left my scores. Greetings from the Meow Bomb team — if you're looking for more games to play and rate, come check out our bomb-crafting cat!
@sovisovi Haha yeah, we were also unsure about the waiting time and how easy to make the game, so we tried to make the start a bit more accessible. Thanks for playing, really appreciate the feedback!
@frizifrench Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, we had a hard time thinking about the pacing too, definitely something we could improve.
I really enjoyed the concept and the game grab you by the hand at the begining so it is good to learn this mecanic I wasn't used to!
I wonder if the game would have become more hectic as days go by.
Good work!
Please rate our game too!
@givit-game-studios Thanks for the feedback, we did want a gameplay where player has to figure out from the clues the caller were giving, and were thinking creating more possibles voicelines, but fell short with time. Glad you liked it!
@iaselar Glad you had fun!
@coderaurus Yes, the days do get harder as you progress. Though I guess we still have some work to do for the difficulty. Thanks for testing our game!
Also, I noticed a possible small typo while playing. I'm not sure if I heard it correctly, but I think the name mentioned during the phone call was "HOOT", while the phone book listed it as "HEATHCOTE". I might be mistaken, but you might want to double-check that!
Cool game
Has some bugs like the cable falling with rollback and putting 2 cable in the same attachment.
Simple but funny game
Quite fun still ! Good job.
Atmosphere is great! Very tight.
Also I had one specific issue, where someone asked for a cell that was also asking for a call at the same time, so I couldn't do both at the same time and lost one of them to free it. Besides that, no issue ;)
GG
Nice entry!
My only complaint would probably be that splitting the game into days, with the time card in between, sorta gets in the way of the actual gameplay. I think it would've been more interesting to have it just be infinite, with call frequency picking up as you go.
Also, I accidentally dropped one of my pegs, and it fell through the table and I couldn't get it back 😔 so I ended up losing pretty early lol. But overall a lot of fun.
Fun concept for the theme!
