It's not completely insane, or all over the place, it's just generally a bit of a mess. I had lots of fun making it. I'm not going to detail all the things wrong with the game itself, that would be spoiling it :P
In accordance with the theme, I built the game in the order: music, graphics, code, and I had a jolly long lie in this morning instead of working on it.
The music was recorded on a phone, in my basement, with instruments I can’t really play. I didn’t write the song beforehand, and while I did have a few goes before I was happy with what it was I was playing, they were each done in a single take. The vocals are a stream of conciousness babble, and the whole thing goes on far longer than anyone is likely to play the game for.
The game itself I tried to make as if with enthusiastic misinterpretation and confusion, without the slightest care for consistency or quality. Technically it is possible to win, but the game doesn’t ever end, and it’s possibly to tick the score back down by scoring for the other team.
The flash file may take a while to load if you have a slow connection, as I unnecessarily encoded the music at the highest bitrate, so it’s 12 megs.
This song is awesome. The game sucks, but that's expected right? =) I left the game open in a separate tab for the only purpose of listening to the song. XD

The game only seems to count scoring in the upper goal as success, otherwise it tells you you're a failure.

Hey it sounds like a good working plan! I also used "Inverse Developing" at my game:
I started celebrating the game development end
Then I had an idea
I take the photos and edited them
And at last I started with the game code
If I had used music or sound it would be funny doing it before having the game idea
