Only had a couple of days to work on this (including today) so my plans for a space-conquest game were replaced by this space-colonization game. It was created in Dart and compiled to JavaScript so should work on most modern browsers. The goal is to get as many colonies as you can. The speed you build colony ships is based on the amount of metal you have available to you. Red stars are low metal, yellow normal, blue high metal. Whoever has the most colonies after all stars are colonized is the winner.
