The Shark Fighter!
Had this idea for The Shark Fighter for a decent amount of time. I decided to pull the trigger and start making it with the Shark compo. It's quite the coincidence that this compo came around.
I plan on continuing work on it after the compo. All assets were made from scratch. I also want to thank you all for trying it out. It may be rough, but hopefully you'll enjoy it.
The OSX version may not work as I have no good way of testing it after I compile it. Worst case scenario there is always the web version which should work on all OSes.
HOW TO PLAY:
The best score wins! Post a screen shot for maximum authenticity!
Best played in full/maximized screen. Use the mouse and left click to aim and shoot. Arrow keys to move.
You 'level up' at certain score intervals. The sharks also level up, so it's in your best interest to kill the sharks as fast as possible.
You have 3 health to start off with.
Pick up the otter for a temporary speed boost.

Good job! It would be really cool if you could hold the left click to repeatedly shoot.

dinos: Thanks. I was thinking of making you shoot slower but have more powerful shots and then make it auto repeat.
Yword: I'm gonna have power ups and stuff put in. Just ran out time due to work and stuff.

I like the idea and leveling up! I'm also going to "third" the hold-to-fire suggestion.
Fuck you Whale and fuck you Dolphin!!!
And we can add sharks to the list now .
