Conspiracy Clicker

Conspiracy Clicker is a game of clicking and conspiratorial patience. You must try to dominate the world by mastering the three sectors: Industry, Politics and Media. You strategically choose from a list of upgrades, and watch as your money, votes and mind control add up over time.

Built from scratch in HTML5 and Javascript. Should be responsive enough for your mobile devices. Only tested on Chrome v31 on Windows, and on a Galaxy S3.

Note: The game doesn't save automatically, so if you plan to refresh your browser, please use the save in the options at the bottom.

Great concept! These clicker style games seem popular lately but this is actually about shifting your clicks between sectors. A very well made idea, and Love the top image of the eye!

You got me hooked but I was a little disappointed in the ending... The buttons where a little hard to click sometimes, but OK. Lets see what happens after 5-6 presidents.

This ate up a good portion of my night. I laughed out loud at pretty much everything. 10^100 OmniNet and Ultra GameBox MK and "Minecraft"-based secret societies and... too many good jokes to count. I'm actually a bit concerned at the sheer amount of conspiracy in-jokes you managed to work in. Love the Futurama references, too.

A pretty complex and original spin on "Cookie Clicker", and like I said, the jokes are brilliant. I'll introduce my friends to this one.

Great game, you took a conventional clicker and gave it some variety. One thing that I noticed - the loop delay is not accurate, i.e. I get 150$ per second even when it shows 750$/second. A suggestion is this:

Instead of using setTimeout or setInterval, use this:

This code snippet can help you call your loop every frame, instead of predefined times.

To compensate for the irregular interval between frames, you can do this:

tDelta = Date.now() - tOld
indMoney += indRate * tDelta

This will ensure that your loop will always update the resources accordingly, with no loss at all. The same method can also be used for the transfer rates etc. This little trick can also be used for any future games, for a time based timestep.

Overall a good game, keep it up!

Very fun game... Found it more addicting than cookie clicker.

I now have 20 presidents :D
