You can run the game simply by executing devengeance.exe.
---------------------
-- OSX/LINUX USERS --
---------------------
You must have Love 0.9.0 ( http://love2d.org ) installed on your machine. Once it is installed, you can run the game ( presumably ) by executing devengeance.love.

----------------------
-- GAMEPAD CONTROLS --
----------------------

-----------------------
-- COMBAT TECHNIQUES --
-----------------------
While on ground:
Parry = toward incoming attack + light attack
Backstep = light attack + jump
Launch = backward -> light attack
Riser = backward -> light attack ( hold )
Streak = forward -> forward + light attack
While in air:
Meteor Drop = down + light attack
Streak = forward -> forward + light attack
While sprinting:
Quick Slash = light attack
---------------
-- OBJECTIVE --
---------------
The only ending is a Game Over, so try to score as many kills as you can! Defeating all enemies in the arena causes a new wave of more aggressive enemies to spawn.
----------------
-- QUICK TIPS --
----------------
- Incoming attacks are indicated by the appearance of a bright red cross. To defend, perform a parry by holding the analog stick/arrow keys toward the cross and perform a light attack.
- Initially, up to three enemies at a time can be preparing attacks against you. This number increases with each wave.
- Kills by friendly fire do not count toward your end-of-game kill count.
- Combination attacks are much faster than individual attacks.
- Light attack can link into most other techniques.
