Fallout: Vault 17
A Fallout semi-demake set in vault 17, where Lily (Fallout: NV) originally came from. It tells a story of upheaval and love: how life in a functioning and prosperous vault was abruptly ended.
There's a mish-mash of things from various Fallout games throughout. It's a kind of collage of the first two Fallouts' vault design and Fallout 3's first few Vault 101 quests. Plus, there's a fair number of references and generally trivial stuff in there.
This is both my first LD entry and my first ever game. In total, it took about five nights to make. It's much longer than I'd anticipated -- over 12,000 words apparently -- so I can't believe I even managed it in five. Considering it was written so fast, there may well be misspellings, grammatical oddities, bugs etc. If you do happen to find any, or just want to give me some feedback, please leave a comment or email [email protected]! I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks! Really glad Owen came across well.
I'll probably rewrite some of the more rushed passages at a later date. And I'm definitely planning on writing a sequel.

Yeah, I thought doing a straightforward "demake" of any game -- let alone Fallout -- would be too challenging. So I decided to adopt a loose interpretation of the word.

but other than that its a really great game!
Heh, I did get flashbacks to "Queers in Love at the End of the World". Nice use of times events in the elevator scene.
Good work for five days, and I'd like to play a longer version.
