The Stanly Parable LD Demix
A demake of Davey Wreden's indie game "The Stanley Parable", in the style of text adventure games.
You are an office worker, thrown out of your daily routine when all your colleagues suddenly vanish. You set out in search for the truth.
Seven different endings, some good, some less so.
Content warning: disturbing imagery in some of the routes. Might be triggering for those bothered by abuse or suicidal impulses.
Created in just over 48 hours in Inform 7.
The main commands used in this game: EXAMINE, OPEN, TAKE, INPUT [number], PUSH, ENTER [vehicle etc.], GET OUT, JUMP, plus compass directions.

Note: this game does not follow "The Stanley Parable" in every detail. It is a fan-made effort that does not intend to infringe copyright. I have tried to rip off as little of the writing of the original game as possible, but I couldn't resist using some of the iconic lines.

Love the presentation. Frustrating as text adventures often are, but a nice place to play in!

I liked how detailed it is. Kinda cool to just wander around, going the most non-linear path

Clearly, the programmer hasn't got around to creating some areas yet. And i am happy. Er... I mean free! :)

Nice to see this old genre (text adventure) still in use! Sadly though, I'm no good at playing these games... This one is cool, however! :)
Stanley Parable: All about disobeying and subverting commands in clever ways.
This is brilliant. Definitely coming back to this once my entry is done!
