Space Fishing

The world's first Space Fishing game has arrived! PLEASE play in fullscreen if at all possible! (Download the standalone, or in the web player, right click and go fullscreen.)

You are in a small spaceship, go around and collect fish to survive. There is no winstate. You can goof around, cook fish, try to fit 3 fish in your airlock, race around the map, stare out the windows into space, play pong with fish, get dizzy...

This is my first time actually making something for a jam.
I started about three weeks ago, but then I took a long break because I wasn't sure what could I add to make this more than it is... then I decided to just finish it, maybe it can stand on its own now.

Warning: may cause dizziness. (Press C to change camera modes if this bothers you.)

Pick'n'mixed stuff: dizziness, maybe hunger, one mechanic, many keyboard keys, fishing.

I've also included an OS/X build, but I had no means to test it, sorry. I've tested on Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Ubuntu 14.04.1.

I used Unity, Gimp, and my own music. Credits for the textures used are in the Credits menu ingame.

Any feedback is appreciated!
Enjoy!

v1.01 changelog:

* Added buttons for zooming (Z/U), for those suffering without a mouse
* Turning music off/on now persists through restarts
* Reorganized the ingame help text

I've also uploaded the source code, everything is available here: http://kingdomoffish.itch.io/space-fishing

Thanks! Yeah, I know it's a bit confusing at first.

For me, you did the scared part too. The mood was pretty creepy.

After eating some traditional thruster cooked fish 'just like Mom used to make'. I flew around hoping to find a way out or some Easter egg, then I died of starvation.

Good job with the music. It really sets in the lonely and hopeless atmosphere.

Thank you for playing!
Yeah, I wanted to add more stuff, but I couldn't figure out what...
