A Ball's Life
A game about balls, life, death and vengeance.
The game is a shooter with a PONG-ish theme. Instead of moving a paddle, you will play as the ball on a quest to change its destiny and the future of all the balls.
Intro and UI developed using HTML/CSS/Javascript and jQuery.
Game developed using Phaser.
I hope you'll enjoy it :D
UPDATE:
I've uploaded a new version with the following changes. The aim is to make the game a bit more tactical:
- Now there's an energy level for shooting, it's not very restricting but you just can't shoot all the time
- The shots stay alive longer, meaning that they will bounce on more paddles if aimed good
- The enemies will come in waves. On the bottom left of the screen there's a danger-o-meter that will tell you when they are coming

The only feedback I have is that if you could transition straight from the intro to the game, that would be awesome. And if you could have some type of way to encourage bouncing shots, that would be really cool too (i.e. combo points for bouncing shots, limited ammo per "round").
Really though, it's an awesome game, the story is hilarious!
After the intro I expected to see some king of platformer with rainbows and stuff but your choice is pretty cool, and hard!
Nice work man!
Thanks for playing everyone!
Revenge of the Squareling!
There are many things I would like to change in this game, but I wanted to see what I was able to do in a typical jam timespan (2-3 days). Maybe I'll develop it further in the future :)
