Earth is under attack by martians. Your task is to protect earth and destroy the martian attack force. The game is controlled by mouse and on mobile device by accelerometer.
My first MiniLD and like every LD before I didn't finish the game. It took me some time to come up with something, so I couldn't use the whole week. The game needs still a lot of work, but it's possible to win and to lose.
Tools used: vi and textwrangler for pure html and pure javascript audacity for sound effects gimp and inkscape for graphics
Pretty slick for a game you say still needs a lot of work. Love the retro sci-fi movie look of it. Adding extra flourishes of the same style would be awesome. Simple is good in the gameplay, but adding just a bit more would go a long way, I think.
