HyperPong is a simple pong clone and our first Ludum Dare game. Our goal was to use as little graphics as possible and just code it all in! Somewhere along the way, we might have gotten a little to focused on that... and forgot to add actual gameplay. :3 No matter! We've learned a lot and are happy with our results so far.
Functions already in the game:
- fully functioning menu ( with a little too less info )
- pretty darn smart AI ( which is buggy )
- All balls have tails!!1!
- Bouncy paddles!!!
- Debug Menu (activate with CTRL + ALT + F1 )
Rather important functions we have forgotten about:
- SCORES!
- Upgrades
- Campaign
- Story lines ( where did mommy paddle and daddy paddle go? Who's that strange tailed ball bumping into you? Who am I??!)
- Player levels
- Cookies
If you're playing single player, use [W,S} to move, if you're the second player, use the up and down arrow keys. Navigate through the menu's using the arrow keys again and return using backspace. Use "A" to pause the game ( too lazy to bind it to a more logical key? )
Have fun playing the game without a goal!
